Thank you for grabbing the Explorer Kit and for taking the time to share your thoughts. I hear you, man, and I can see how the extra empty slots in the box might’ve made it feel like something was missing. That part’s on us for not making it clearer.
Here’s how it actually works: the kit is advertised as 8 scents, but we almost always go above and beyond. In your case, we added 2 extra oils (our summer scent and an unreleased one) because we love surprising customers with more than what they expected. So instead of 8, you got 10.
The reason the box has extra spaces is because our scent lineup evolves (sometimes we retire oils, sometimes we launch new or seasonal ones.) Those empty slots are intentional so we can keep expanding without redesigning the whole kit every season.
We’re proud of the scents and the experience we’ve built, and I hope once that’s clear it helps show you got even more than what you originally ordered.
